The JUPEB admission form of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) for 2018/2019 academic session has been released on sale by the management. The details and instructions to apply for LAUTECH JUPEB admission can be found below. 

 The LAUTECH JUPEB form for admission into 2018/2019 academic session has been released by the management of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.

 Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) one (1) year Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) programme.

LAUTECH JUPEB Admission Duration & Subject Combinations.


LAUTECH JUPEB programme is expected to run for One (1) Academic Session. During the Programme, Candidates will have the opportunity to write Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB).

 ‘A’ Level Subjects. Candidates will be prepared for the above Examination in the following subject combinations. SCIENCE SUBJECTS
  • Agricultural Science
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
MANAGEMENT SCIENCE SUBJECTS
  • Accounting
  • Business Studies
  • Economics
  • Geography

LAUTECH JUPEB Admission Requirements.

  • Candidates should possess five O/Level credit passes in WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB at not more than two sittings from English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science, Economics, Geography, Financial Accounting and Business Studies.

How to Apply for LAUTECH JUPEB Admission.

Payment Summary:
Application Form Fee: =N= 10,000:00
All Fees are payable via the LAUTECH InterSwitch Payment Integration Platform. Note that a bank transaction charge of =N=300:00 per transaction apply for all InterSwitch payments. You will be redirected to interswitch gateway during registration to make payment for the Application Form. Prepare for making your payment online by having the following information handy:
  • An Interswitch enabled Debit/ ATM card, specifying the “Card Number”, “Expiry Date”, “Card PIN” and “CVV2 Code”
  • Ensure that you have sufficient funds in the card specified above, to cater for your fees as quoted in this section
LAUTECH JUPEB Admission Method of application:
  • Go to http://jupeb.lautech.edu.ng/ and Click on “here to apply” link at the top of this web page. You should ONLY do this after you MUST have read and understood all the instructions on this site. The Email Address supplied has to be unique and valid, and will serve as your Registration ID to make payment.
  • After successfully registering an account, you are to visit the Email address you supplied, to retrieve your PASSCODE. This PASSCODE will enable you access the payment system. This can be accessed through the “returning aplicant” link at the top of this page.
  • After registering an account, please note, you then fall into the category of “Returning Applicant”, and you should always use the “Returning Applicant Login” at the top of this web page.
  • As a “Returning Applicant”, you can make payment (by clicking on “Click here to Pay for your Application Form with a Created Email Address”. You are expected to supply the Email Address registered earlier and the PASSCODE sent to you); you can obtain a Application Form Number(this must be after a successful Application Form Payment); and you can also complete the application process.
  • After a successful payment, in order to get an Application Form Number, click on “Click here to get a Form Number”. You are expected to supply the Email Address registered earlier and the PASSCODE sent to you. Your Application Form Number will be e-mailed to the supplied email address, and also shown on the screen.
  • To complete the Application Form, you need to have gotten an Application Form number. You are to login with your Application Form number and the password earlier created. After you successfully fill the application form, and submit it, an Examination venue will be alloted to you. Please make sure you print this slip.
  • Please note, after submission of your Application Form, you will be unable to change the Passport Photograph uploaded. Hence confirm the passport uploaded is yours before you attempt to submit your form.

The sale of University Of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has announced the sale of Pre-Degree / Remedial Admission Form for 2018/2019 Academic Session.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) pre-degree programmes in Arts, Arts Education, Agriculture, Engineering and Technology, Environmental Sciences, Sciences and Science Education for the 2018/2019 academic session.

UNILORIN Pre-Degree Admission Requirements.

1. Arts Education:

(i) Applicant Must pass five subjects at credit level at not more than two sittings in SSCE/GCE organized by WEAC, NECO, NABTEB and should include mathematics, English Language and the subject of study.

(ii) Two of the five subjects must be from Arts while the third may be from the Social Sciences.

Note: There is NO Remedial programme in B.A.(Hons.) English

2. Agriculture, Engineering and Technology, Environmental Sciences and Science Education, Technology Education and Educational Technology

Applicants must pass the following subjects at credit level;

English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at not more than two sittings in the SSCE/GCE organized by WAEC, NECO and NABTEB.

Specific Requirements for UNILORIN Remedial Programme:

Faculty of Agriculture will accept credit grade in Agricultural Science in lieu of credit grade in Biology.

Duration of UNILORIN Remedial Programme:

The programme is for duration of two semesters (one academic session)

UNILORIN Remedial Programme Eligibility:

The preliminary programme is primarily opened to applicants from the Catchment States of the University of Ilorin, (i.e. Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nassarawa, Niger, Plateau, Sokoto and Zamfara States.

UNILORIN Remedial Programme General Conditions:

  • Candidates who want to study Engineering must obtain Credit grades in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics and sit for Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics at the 2018/2019 JAMB/UTME.
  • Candidates MUST write the 2018/2019 JAMB/UTME with relevant subject combination to any programme in either Arts or Sciences and MUST obtain the minimum UTME approved cut off point by the University.
  • Consideration for admission into programmes shall be based on performance and quota for each programme.
  • Applicants are to note that the programme is residential.

Venue of UNILORIN Remedial Programme:

The venue of the programme shall be at the School of Preliminary Studies, Fufu, Ilorin South Local Government Headquarters, Kwara State.

How to Apply for UNILORIN Pre-Degree Admission Form:

Candidates are to visit the University of Ilorin website www.unilorin.edu.ng and follow the link for the 2018/2019 SPS Application. Application forms are to be completed online after a payment of N15, 000.00 (Fifteen Thousand Naira Only) application fee, using interswitch enabled ATM card either Master or Verve card.

After the completion of the form, each candidate MUST download a Local Government Confirmation Form, which MUST be endorsed by the Chairman/Secretary of the Local Government Area. A candidate who is offered admission will be expected to bring the form and SSCE/GCE certificates/result slips during registration.

Closing date for application is 23rd November, 2018.

Edo University Undergraduate Scholarship Award for 2018/2019 Academic Session – How To Apply for Undergraduate Scholarship Award.Edo University

The Edo University, a World Class Institution located in Iyamho, Edo state, which upholds quality and excellence in teaching and research, with state-of-the-art facilities is desirous of awarding full scholarship to deserving students who scored a minimum of 260 in UTME and partial scholarship to deserving indigent students of Edo State origin who scored a minimum of 200 in UTME.

Edo University Scholarships.

Undergraduate Full Scholarship Award: The Undergraduate Full Scholarship Award (UFSA) will be for the duration of any choice programme of candidates. This scholarship shall be for the maximum of five (5) candidates who have demonstrated high level of academic excellence.

Indigent Students Scholarship Award: The Indigent Students Scholarship Award (ISSA) will be for the duration of any choice programme and it covers only tuition fees. This award is part of Edo University Iyamho Corporate Social Responsibility in providing access to quality education in Nigeria.

Edo University Scholarship Eligibility.

  • The candidate must have chosen Edo University Iyamho or any other NUC recognized University as his/her first choice of University for UTME with a minimum score of 260 for Undergraduate Full Scholarship Award (UFSA) And 200 For Undergraduate Indigent Students Scholarship Award (ISSA).
  • The candidate must have met the entry requirements for admission into his/her course of study.
  • The candidate must demonstrate a high level of written and spoken English (please note that a CBT is an important mode of assessment for determining the best applicants).
  • Candidates of Edo State origin must show evidence of indigency to qualify for the Undergraduate Indigent Students Scholarship Award (ISSA).

Course Level: Scholarships are available for undergraduate candidates into the various programmes offered by the University as reflected on the University’s website.

  • The Franchise Brand Manager is responsible for leading the execution of key marketing projects affecting the market(s) or set of brands within Nigeria; ultimately delivering positive volume & brand love growth, and to manage marketing and finance projects.   • The Company’s effort in building a strong consumer insight driven business growth model, coupled with development of scalable programs & tools for implementation by our Bottling partners is critical to our short and long-term business success. The BM will have to learn to develop and shape the relationship and strategic plan development with the Bottling partners.
  • The BM will be required to lead and manage marketing and finance projects and is expected to prepare and share with the line manager, the performance plan, career plan and development plan. These plans will have to reflect the updates in Performance Enablement on a full year and monthly basis.
  • The key responsibility of the BM role is to lead the internal monthly analysis of performance of our brands, in each market, which will in turn be the basis to help the Marketing managers lead the conversations with the different stakeholders on short, medium and long-term strategies. The monthly analysis will also help execute market brand programs collaboratively with the Bottler Marketing & Operations teams to ensure implementing a strong path to consumer-driven business growth.
  • The second responsibility of the BM role is to lead the end-to-end Marketing and Innovation project implementation in-market. This will require an in-depth knowledge of our brands, in terms of Brand Vision and Architecture, Visual Identity System, design principles, the understanding and application of the Innovation process and Coke Works, Project Management, the management of a cross section of agencies, from the material and strategies developed by the Central team.
  • A third key component of the BM role is to learn how to work the Bottler during the plan implementation. The BM will need to work within the System to discuss, align and execute activities with the Bottling partners. To develop their knowledge of the Bottling System, the BM will have to continuously do in trade and country visits, to be able to share & discuss on country specific points with the stakeholders.
  • Lastly the BM will be expected to follow set routines and document and track them via Zoom and other related tools.

  • Understand and extract K&I data – including using proxy data to connect the dots. This will be done monthly with retail audit information and when required with BGS information. The BM shall work on the weekly Zoom charts with supporting data from the above sources.

  • The BU Sustainability Manager will also be responsible for driving the implementation of our Renewing Category Growth (RCG) initiatives to grow consumer and stakeholder trust and acceptance of our beverages, including building and leveraging appropriate relationships with influencers and regulators in the health and other relevant sectors, thus enabling the environment for growth and sustainability of our business.

Key Duties/Responsibilities
Prioritized Responsibilities % of Time:

  • Global Sustainability Commitments: Liaise with The Coca-Cola Foundation, The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation and the Corporate Office to develop the right internal relationships, frameworks and processes to drive effective implementation of TCCC’s global sustainability commitments, including 5by20, RAIN and Recycling, in relevant WABU markets, ensuring that the BU becomes a significant and visible contributor to the realization of these commitments.
  • External Partnerships/Funding Opportunities: Build partnerships and leverage external funding opportunities with development/donor agencies, national governments, civil society organizations, peer businesses and 25% 20% Job Evaluation Request Form Classified – Internal use industry groups as appropriate in order to increase the funding, reach and impact of our sustainability initiatives.
  • Policy/Regulatory Risks: Conduct periodic environmental scan of WABU’s key/risk markets to identify extant or emerging policy or regulatory risks to our business in areas such as environment, health or gender issues; and develop a risk analysis and mitigation plan to proactively manage such risks and safeguard the business.
  • Alignment with Bottling System: Build and leverage strong relationships and influence within the bottling system and ensure alignment and partnership with our bottlers in the implementation of TCCC’s global sustainability commitments as well as locally developed programmes.
  • Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting: Develop and implement an effective framework for periodic monitoring, evaluation and reporting with key metrics on the implementation and impact of our sustainability initiatives.
  • Impact Story Telling and Showcase: Collaborate with the BU Communications Manager and the System PAC Managers to communicate progress and impact of our key sustainability initiatives internally and externally, including leveraging national, regional and global platforms to showcase the success of such initiatives.

Communication Complexities:

  • The BU Sustainability Manager will often lead and drive external communication and engagement with programme partners that will include government officials, regulators, civil society organizations/activist organizations and industry groups across many of WABU’s 31 markets.
  • The job holder will also be required to liaise regularly with counterparts in the bottling system, the Eurasia and Group and Corporate (Atlanta).

Analysis – D:

  • Issues management with governments, regulators, communities and social and environmental activists – should possess the requisite personal and professional skills and be able to leverage Company resources to effectively manage emerging issues.

Judgment And Decision Making:

  • Distinguish between recommendations made to someone else and decisions where this job has final authority. Indicate involvement (if any) with ABP and OBP development and execution.
  • Required to advise the PAC Director and BU Leadership team on strategic sustainability initiatives which impact the Company’s reputation and social license and the effective management of community, policy and regulatory risks. Job holder must exhibit a high degree of sound judgement and may be required to exercise delegated authority in the absence of the PAC Director.

Innovation:

  • This role will have responsibility for developing and deploying frameworks and tools for impact measurement, evaluation and reporting our key sustainability programmes in line with company and global best practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design of processes and activities, objective setting and follow up performance evaluations, coaching & feedback and developmental plans.
  • Also responsible for managing programme implementing partners in key countries in the BU.

Preferred Qualifications

  • University Degree preferably in Development Studies, Sustainability Management or Social Work and related fields
  • Working knowledge of the French language
  • Ability to appreciate and engage with a diverse community of media
  • Ability to instil trust across diverse groups of critical influencers

Cultural Diversity:

  • The Coca-Cola West Africa Business Unit covers 31 countries across West and Central Africa and the Indian Ocean islands. The region features a wide diversity of language, ethnicity and culture with English and French as the major official languages.

Working Conditions:

  • Volatile social, economic and political environments and sometimes hostile community relations.

Travel Requirements:

  • About 70% travel across the BU and international travels.
